A non-profit scientific and educational institute seeks an unpaid, full-time residential caretaker for a mountain-top astronomical research facility in the coastal mountains of California. A small residence and complete off-line utilities, including high-speed internet are provided. Light duties. Participation in astronomical educational and research activities also possible if interested but secondary. Parking for larger vehicles available at the offices, separate from the observatory.
