Spend the summer in Montana!

Spend the summer in the spectacular Mission Mountains of northwest Montana! We are located outside of Ronan, just south of Flathead Lake and about 2 hours (or less) from Glacier National Park. If you love the outdoors, this could be the place for you! This is for FHU only - please scroll on if you are looking for a site with pay. We are looking for a single or couple to be caretakers/helpers on our small ranch in Ronan, Montana. Duties include mowing, weed-eating, general grounds clean-up, greeting and helping Airbnb guests (as needed), housekeeping our Airbnb spaces when we are away and various small chores around the ranch. We will be on site most of the summer working right along with you. You must be physically able to do heavy lifting, enjoy outdoor work and not shy away from manual labor. The Airbnb’s are small - a tiny house and a 600 sf basement apartment. We are avid flyfishers and campers and need someone to house sit/pet sit when we are gone - usually short trips but we have a couple planned for up to three weeks. We have two friendly (and funny!) Nigerian Dwarf goats, two mostly barn cats, and a large (but, friendly) dog so any pets you have must be compatible and approved beforehand. We also pasture horses on the property during the summer.  Schedule is flexible - maximum of 20 hours per week. For couples, up to you as to how you split this. Work is in exchange for a FHU (50 amp) only - no salary. Your RV spot is level, partially shaded, with a lovely view of Goat Peak and the Mission Mountains. We have a garden spot that we are willing to share, a small creek and a pond on the property - 10 beautiful acres!  Commitment is for April/May 2025 until late September/early October.
