Job Description

**Lazy Horse RV Park** seeking Camp Hosts who can greet guests & help around with regular park upkeep.  Couples are ideal (but not required) as one can greet guests and the other might help with landscaping projects.

This is a cool spot right on the river, with wild horses roaming around and rafting opportunities.  Very peaceful, and our guests return again and again to get away from it all.  We're easy going, as long as you and your rig are cleanly, and you have a good disposition for making our guests feel welcome.

**CONTACT US**...  IF you can come **AUGUST OR SEPT**, OR if you want to reserve a Camp Host spot for spring.  Do NOT call if you can't come until October.  We don't want anyone to drive all the way here just in time for the winter.  Winter has chance of snow and chance of temps in the teens, which is fine for some, but we need help sooner than later, before Oct.    **ANWERS TO QUESTIONS: ** NO, we don't know of paying jobs around here.  We are 30 min from the closest town of Yreka, CA or 40 min to Ashland OR and day trips like Crater Lake or Mt. Shasta.   **DOGS** okay if you don't have to many, and if they are mellow.  Can't be barking at wild horses.  In portable pen or on leash, or in camper please.** **

Responsibilities

Put a camp host sign out by your camper. Guide incoming guests to their spot. Maybe help more with booking system, maybe not. Hand out helpful info. Deliver ice. Help with watering your area and pulling some weeds. Check bathrooms. If one of you has landscaping skills, that's a plus. One can greet guests while the other helps with other projects.

Job Requirements

**Stay a MONTH OR TWO or for a season like FALL or SPRING**. This may be short notice due to new owners, but we could use Camp Hosts **NOW**, for the fall. Each person works **20 hrs a week**, mainly in afternoons, flexible schedule. 2-3 days off a week. Can trade time with other Hosts. Come winter, we may not need much help, so we'd ask you to pay utilities (metered) if you stay, and work less hours. Couples are ideal (but not required) as one can greet guests and the other might help with landscaping projects.
